This Privacy Policy explains how The Right Hand collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use our website, mobile application, or related services (the “Platform”) to book appointments with hospitals, clinics, and doctors (“Providers”). It is published in accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made thereunder.

• Identity & contact details: name, phone number, email address.
• Booking information: Provider selected, appointment date/time, token number, and any notes you add while booking.
• Payment information: transaction reference and amount when you pay through the Platform — full card/UPI details are collected and processed directly by our payment-gateway partner, not stored by us.
• Device & usage data: IP address, browser/device type, and app-usage logs, collected automatically for security and analytics purposes.

We do not ask for, and you should not submit, sensitive medical records or test results through general booking fields beyond what a Provider’s intake form explicitly requests.

We use the information above to:

• Create and manage your account and bookings;
• Send booking confirmations, token updates, and reminders via SMS, WhatsApp, email, or voice call;
• Process payments and reconcile refunds;
• Respond to support requests and grievances;
• Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or misuse of the Platform;
• Improve the reliability and features of the Platform.

We share your booking details (name, phone number, appointment time) with the Provider you book with, since this is necessary to deliver the service you requested. We may also share information with:

• Our payment-gateway and messaging (SMS/WhatsApp) partners, solely to process payments and deliver notifications;
• Law enforcement or regulators, where required by applicable law or a valid legal request.

We do not sell your personal information to any third party.

We retain booking and account information for as long as your account is active, and thereafter for as long as needed to comply with applicable legal, tax, or record-keeping obligations, after which it is deleted or anonymised.

We use industry-standard safeguards — including encrypted transport (HTTPS/TLS), authenticated access controls, and token-based session management — to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; if you discover a security issue, please report it to us at growth@therighthand.in.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information held by us by writing to the email below. We will respond within a reasonable time, subject to any information we are legally required to retain.

The Platform is not directed at children under 18. Bookings for a minor must be made and supervised by a parent or legal guardian.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated effective date above.
