Cancellation & Refund Policy
Effective date: 23 June 2026
1. Scope
This policy covers cancellations and refunds for any appointment booked and paid for through The Right Hand (“Platform”). It applies in addition to, and does not override, any specific cancellation policy a hospital, clinic, or doctor (“Provider”) displays at the time of booking — where a Provider’s own policy is stricter, that policy controls.
2. Cancellation by You
You may cancel a booking from the “My Appointments” section of the Platform before the scheduled slot. If the booking was prepaid:
- Cancelling more than 2 hours before the scheduled slot is eligible for a full refund of any platform/booking fee paid, unless the Provider’s own policy states otherwise.
- Cancelling within 2 hours of the scheduled slot, or not showing up (“no-show”) without cancelling, is not eligible for a refund, since the slot/token could not be reallocated.
3. Cancellation or Delay by the Provider
If a Provider cancels your appointment, or is unable to see you within a reasonable time of your token/slot due to their own scheduling, you are entitled to a full refund of any amount paid through the Platform for that booking, regardless of when the cancellation happens. Where the Platform is able to detect this automatically (e.g. a Provider marking the appointment as cancelled), the refund is initiated without you needing to raise a request.
4. How to Request a Refund
If a refund isn’t initiated automatically, write to growth@therighthand.in or call +91 90802 59263 with your booking ID and the reason for the request. We may verify the cancellation circumstances with the Provider before approving the refund.
5. Refund Timelines & Method
Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method (UPI, card, or net banking) used at the time of booking. Refunds typically reflect within 2 hours to 7 business days, depending on your bank or payment provider’s own processing time, which is outside our control.
6. Non-Refundable Items
Any consultation fee, procedure fee, or deposit paid directly to the Provider (in cash or by any method outside the Platform) is not covered by this policy and must be resolved directly with the Provider.
7. Repeated Cancellations
We reserve the right to limit, flag, or suspend booking privileges for an account that shows a pattern of repeated last-minute cancellations or no-shows, as this affects Providers’ ability to serve other patients.
